Manifest Confidentiality

Anyone filing Sec.103 manifest confidentiality request is aware that CFR state the request should be mailed to the "Disclosure Law Officer, Headquarters, U.S. Customs Service, 1300 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW., Washington, DC 20229."  Well, those folks have an new temporary home at 799 9th St. N.W. Washington DC 20001.  

Internally, they have been moved under Office of International Trade, and today formally known as "Privacy Act, Policy & Procedures Branch."  Individuals and companies wishing to know the status of their request may call general number 202-325-0280.  Do not be surprised if it soon changes again.
